Yes, you can still book a Telehealth appointment even without a Medicare card — just follow these quick steps:
When asked for Medicare details, enter 10 zeros (0000000000), line number 1, and an expiry date of 01/2030. Ignore any “Health Pension” fields.
Apply for an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) number — it’s free and only takes a few minutes via Services Australia.
Once you receive your IHI number, please email it to admin@holisticahealth.com.au before your appointment.
Our consultation fees vary by service and are designed to remain affordable and transparent. Prices are listed clearly next to the “Book” button on our main page.
Yes. Patients must be at least 18 years old to access our alternative therapy, quit smoking, and weight loss services.
For all other Telehealth consultations, including general GP and dermatology appointments, we welcome patients of all ages.
You can cancel appointments by responding to your confirmation text or contacting us via phone call.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur the full fee. Refunds may be considered at the doctor’s discretion. This policy ensures fairness to all patients and allows us to manage our schedule efficiently.
Our online medical services are all privately billked by our online doctors, including medical certificates and prescriptions.
For DVA patients, we are unfortunately unable to offer direct concessions. However, payment is usually required upfront, and we will provide detailed receipts for all medical online services, which can be submitted by patients to DVA for reimbursement.
Depending on your private health insurance, some or all of the costs for your management plan may be covered. Please make sure you check your insurance coverage before making a claim, as some of Australia’s major health insurers still don’t offer coverage for some of Holistica Health’s Telehealth services.
