Wegovy

Wegovy is a brand of semaglutide registered in Australia for chronic weight management in eligible patients. It works in a similar way to Ozempic, which is registered for type 2 diabetes.

Wegovy is available only on prescription following a full assessment of medical history and suitability. Supply availability in Australia has varied, so a prescribing doctor also considers current stock when planning care.
