Titration

Titration is the supervised process of starting a medicine at a low dose and adjusting it step by step until the best balance between benefit and side effects is found. It is standard practice with ADHD stimulant and non stimulant medicines, where the effective dose varies widely between individuals.

During titration, the prescriber reviews symptom response, sleep, appetite, mood and blood pressure at scheduled follow ups. Telehealth reviews make the frequent early appointments easier to attend, which keeps the process safe and on track.
