STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection)

An STI, or sexually transmitted infection, is an infection passed on through sexual contact. Common examples include chlamydia, gonorrhoea and genital herpes.

STI testing, treatment and confidential advice are available through telehealth in Australia. A doctor can arrange pathology testing and discuss results and next steps privately.
