Dexamphetamine

Dexamphetamine, also spelled dexamfetamine, is a Schedule 8 prescription stimulant used to manage ADHD symptoms in Australia. It works by increasing the activity of certain chemical messengers in the brain.

Dexamphetamine is available for eligible patients following an ADHD assessment. Dosing is individually titrated and monitored by a prescribing doctor, and supply is recorded through real time prescription monitoring.
